Ingredients
- 1 cup of San Benito Parboiled Rice.
- 2 cups of water
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 1 pinch of cumin
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 pound of shrimp
- Chopped cilantro
- A tablespoon of oil
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- In a pot, heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic, season with pepper and cumin.
- Add the San Benito Parboiled Rice and mix when the onion starts to become transparent. Then add the chopped tomato and stir.
- When the rice begins to brown, add the shrimp and season with salt to taste, then mix and add the water.
- When it comes to the boil, cover the pot and let it simmer for 20 minutes until it is dry.
- Add the chopped cilantro over the rice, serve and enjoy.
